“Morning all,

Please be aware that the important gas pipe installation on the fishery is continuing and that means that Snipe Lake is still closed. As soon as the gas board have completed their works we will re open the lake. Please keep an eye on this website or our Facebook page.

Thanks

Majors Lake has changed.
Over the winter, 75 carp were moved across from our other lake, with fish running from low doubles to just under 32lb and an average of around 17lb.
That takes Majors Lake to around 150 carp, including grass carp to 28lb and carp to 31lb 10oz.
With the new stock settling in, Majors Lake is now a dedicated carp water.
Carp Gear Only
Barbless Hooks Only
Over 18`s Only
These changes are about protecting the fish, maintaining standards and making sure the lake is fished with the right tackle for the stock now in there.
Thank you

Ben and I are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with the Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme. The ANLRS is run on a purely voluntary basis and working with fisheries, tackle shops and anglers hopefully they can encourage us all to re-cycle our old fishing line.
We have 3 bins in our on site tackle shop, for Mono, Braid or Fluorocarbon so if you have any old line we encourage you to use it next time you visit us.
