Well it's that time of year again and Christmas is just around the corner. The following are our Christmas shutdown hours for this year.
The Fishery will shut to the public at 4pm on Tuesday 23rd December and reopen at 7am on Saturday 3rd January 2025.
Ben and I would like to thank you all for visiting us and sharing your personal bests and firsts that you have banked in 2025. Lets hope there will be many more in the coming year.
See you on the bank in 2026.

A very well done to Scott Harvey who wins Fish of the Month for November. Not only did he bank a personal best but also a new lake record common at 33-08. Well done Scott, a free session is yours.

 

 

 

A very well done to Steve Churchouse who wins Fish of the Month. During July he banked a 28-04 grassie from Daughters Lake then turned his attention to Majors Lake where he banked 7 carp

Ben and I are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with the Anglers National Line Recycling Scheme. The ANLRS is run on a purely voluntary basis and working with fisheries, tackle shops and anglers hopefully they can encourage us all to re-cycle our old fishing line.
We have 3 bins in our on site tackle shop, for Mono, Braid or Fluorocarbon so if you have any old line we encourage you to use it next time you visit us.
