Due to the extreme weather conditions we are currently experiencing we have shut Westlake due to low water levels. This is more to do with fish and angler welfare as the drop from the swims to the water level is too much to safely remove a netted catfish. Luckily there is a lot of depth in the deepest end of Westlake so the fish will comfortable while we wait for the weather to turn in our favour. The lack of rainfall is effecting the water levels on Majors Lake and Moat Pond, which will remain open for now but we are constantly monitoring the water and oxygen levels in the lakes and ponds. We will of course keep you all informed to any changes that with the on going situation.
