Beaver Lakes Fishery General Rules
These rules apply across theentire fishery and estate. All anglers,visitors and guests must comply with them at all times. By entering the site, you agree to follow these rules as well as any lake-specific rules that apply to the area you are fishing or visiting.
Access and Security
- Entry to the fishery is permitted only through authorised access points
- Only one vehicle may pass through the security gate per entry. Do not allow any other person or vehicle to follow you through
- Never share access codes, tickets or booking confirmations with any other person
- A strict speed limit of 5mph applies throughout the estate
- Vehicles must only be driven and parked in designated areas
Site Conduct
- All visitors must behave in a safe, respectful and responsable manner at all times
- Please use the bins provided on site
- No loud music, excessive noise or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated
- Please respect other anglers, vistors, staff and neighbouring swims at all times
- No person may enter the water at any time
- Any person acting in a way that endagers themselves,others, the fish or the site may be removed immediatley
- Alchohol is permitted in moderation only
- No drugs or illegal substances are permitted on site under any circumstances. This is a zero tollerance rule
- Any person considered to be under the influence of alchohol, drugs or solvents to the exstent that they may pose a risk to themselves, others or the fishery may be removed from the site witout a refund
Dogs and Visitors
- Dogs are permitted only if kept under control at all times
- Any dog fouling must be cleared up immediatley by the owner
- Dogs must not be allowed to disturb other anglers, visitors or wildlife
- Guests and non angling visitors must comply with all site rules at all times
- Guest tickets are to be purchased at the same time as the angling ticket
Cleanliness and Facilities
- Leaving litter will not be tolerated. All rubbish must be taken home or put into bins provided and swims or visitor areas must be left clean and tidy
- Toilet and shower facilities must be used where provided
- Any damage to fishery property, facilities, gates, fences, swims or equipment must be reported immediatley
Fires and BBQ`s
- Open fires are not permitted anywhere on site
- BBQ`s are not permitted anywhere on site
- No person may enter the water at any time
- Any unsafe activity,including behavior around gates, roads, swims, banks or water may result in removal from site
Authority and Enforcement
- Bailiffs and fishery staff are authorised to carry out checks and enforce all site and lake rules at any time
- Bailiffs and management decisions are final
- Beaver Lakes Fishery reserve the right to refuse entry, end a session or remove any person from site for breach of rules, unsafe behaviour, abusive conduct, or failure to follow staff instructions
- Any breach of site rules or lake specific rules may result in immediate removal without refund
We are a barbless hook fishery. Every angler needs a vaid E.A fishing license and every angler is required to have a net and mat of a relevant size to the lake they are fishing on
SNIPE LAKE - SPECIMEN CARP RULES
Snipe Lake is a specimen carp water and must be fished accordingly. These rules are in place to protect the fish, maintain the quality of the lake and ensure a safe and respectful experiance for all anglers. By fishing Snipe Lake, you agree to follow both the Beaver Lakes Fishery General Site Rules and the lake specific rules below
Fish Care and Welfare
- All fish must be returned safely to the lake after weighing and photographing
- Barbless hooks only,Crushed barbs are permitted but must not catch when tested in clothing
- No fixed leads. All rigs must be safely ejectable and fish friendly at all times
- No leadcore or any type of leaders
- No braided mainline
- Minimum 15lb mainline
- Minimum hook size:- size 8
- Mimimum test curve rod :- 2.5lb
- Minimum 42 inch landing net must be used
- A suitable sized un-hooking mat for 35lb+ carp must be used at all times
- All anglers must carry a carp care kit,including antiseptic treatment
- No float fishing
- No fish to be sacked at any time
- Retaining/weighing slings are permitted
- Fish may only be retained temporarily while weighing and photographic equipment is prepared or assistance sought
- No wading or entering the water at any time
- If a fish becomes snagged, contact a bailiff immediately. In many cases, placing the rod down and remaining patient will allow the fish to free itself. Do not pull for a break
- The O.M.C "Magic Twig" is not allowed on this venue
Bait and Feeding
- Boilie and pellet only
- Bait boats and baiting poles are permitted
- No floater fishing
- No stalking
- Carp fishing tactics only
- Excessive baiting may be restricted at bailiffs discretion
- Zig fishing is allowed
- Plastic immitation baits are allowed
Angling Rules
- Strictly no under 18`s, whether fishing or guests
- A valid Environment Agency rod license is required
- Maximum 3 rods per angler
- Fishing from swims only
- Rods must remain in the designated swims at all times
- One angler per swim, no swim or equipment sharing
- Anglers must remain in their swim while rods are in the water
- Every angler must be self sufficient and in possesion of the required fish care and landing equipment
- Bivvies must be positioned in the designated swims and not on the grass banks.
- Strictly no tents, fishing bivvies only
- Please respect other anglers at all times. If you are unsure of another swims water or casting area, ask first
Enforcement
- Rigs checks may be carried out at any time
- Call the bailiff mobile number if any assistance is needed with fish retrieval.
- Bailiffs decisions are final
- Failure to comply with any rule may result in immediate removal from the fishery without refund
- Please call the fishery mobile if you catch a fish over 30lb during opening hours so a bailiff can come and take pictures ( over 20lb in winter )
MAJORS LAKE RULES
Majors Lake is a serious carp water and must be fished with appropriate tackle and full respect for fish welfare. These rules are in place to protect the fish,maintain the quality of the lake and ensure a safe and respectful experiance for all anglers. By fishing Majors Lake, you agree to follow both Beaver Lakes Fishery general rules and the lake specifis rules below

WESTLAKE RULES
Westlake is our dedicated catfish only lake
- Strictly no under 18`s are permitted whether fishing or guests
- Barbless hooks only
- All anglers must carry a carp care kit,including antiseptic treatment
- No leadcore or any type of leaders
- Minimum 20lb mainline Braided mainline allowed
- Dedicated catfish mats only. Must be at least 6ft in length
- Minimum 42 inch landing net must be used
- Every angler must be self sufficient (no equipment sharing) and in possession of the required fish care and landing equipment
- No swim sharing. One angler per swim
- Fishing from swims only
- Fishing bivvies/umbrellas only. No tents
- Maximum 3 rods per angler per swim

- Bailiffs decisions are final
